Here's a little story for you all:

 

My father ran a surgical instrument repair business out of the garage of our first family home. His desk was buried behind a labyrinth of tweezers, clippers, and scissors. Since he had no sight line to the door to see when packages would arrive, he installed a camera outside whose feed would run to a small TV alongside his desk. The camera overlooked not only our driveway but our street: Guffey Road. Why my father spelled "Guffey" wrong when naming the TV/camera system is beyond me, but because of this, the name Guffy Cam was born.

 

Four years after my father's passing, I ventured into the recording industry. His former bedroom became my first studio, and a family friend had the idea to pay homage to him by naming the space Guffy Cam Studios!
